We know that Spiritual Growth doesn't stop after confirmation.  Our hope is to continue to be a place where High School youth can spend time and grow in their relationship with God and others through fellowship, bible study and service.  Spending time together in youth group, worship, mission trips, canoe trips and other special events we hope youth can continue to find a home in the church.

Canoe Trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area(BWCA)

Every three youth have the opportunity to go on a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA).  Out Next trip is on schedule for summer of 2026.  Each trip we paddle into the BWCA and get to experience 3 nights in the beautiful wilderness of northern Minnesota.  We cook our meals over the fire, go fishing, swim and have bible study together.  July of 2023 we took 13 youth and 4 adult leaders to the BWCA up the Gunflint Trail north of Grand Marais where we paddled into be BWCA in Poplar Lake.

Service Trips

Every three years youth have the opportunity to go together on a summer service trip.  Service trips offer an opportunity to go into a new community other then our own and make in impact.  We travel together, make meals together, serve and have fellowship.  In 2022 youth spent a week doing service in Hilton Head Island South Carolina.  Grace have also done service trips to Nashville, TN and Duluth, MN in the past.

ELCA National Youth Gathering

During a National Youth Gathering it draws about 30,000 ELCA youth from all over the country.  Youth are able to worship at night together usually in a large stadium where they have speakers and bands come.  During the days they spend one day at a convention center where they have the chance to do different activities with their group.  One day is spent with their Synod having worship and workshops together and another day is spent doing service for the community.  Youth also stay in a hotel together and get a chance to tour the area they're staying in.
