Sundays
We invite you to worship and praise God with us every Sunday morning!
At Grace Lutheran most Sundays we use a style called convergence worship to celebrate our love of God. Convergence worship can be most simply defined as “the coming together of historic and contemporary worship.” We respect and honor our Lutheran heritage by including hymns, Psalms, and traditional musical liturgical components, while also welcoming Taizé melodies and current Christian songs. Music is chosen not for style, but for its message and relevance for the day’s Scripture and theme. We embrace the old and the new to better unite the worshiping saints of every generation. Come see what it's all about! One week each month our service is typically led with a guitar, and the other Sundays we are led by a piano and/or the organ.
10:00 a.m. Worship with Holy Communion
Children are welcome! We embrace families in worship at Grace, so don't worry about your little one making some noise, it's ok! Each Sunday during our worship service, Pastor invites children up and shares a message just for our youngest friends in worship. Children’s activity bags are also available with coloring books and other activities in the narthex. For those who need a minute to burn off some energy, the nursery is open for parents and children.
Holy Communion is celebrated during each worship service. We have an OPEN table, and believe that this is a gift for ALL people, including visitors and those from different faith traditions. If you want to participate with us, then it's for you too! All are welcome at Christ's table. Most weeks we come forward during worship and form two lines where you will receive a small wafer or piece of bread, and a small cup of either grape juice or wine. We have gluten free bread available each week if you need that too. Pastor always gives instructions beforehand too.
