Grace Lutheran Church strives to be a place where all are welcome, embraced, and empowered to live out their faith in action. We value people of all ages working together to grow and serve, and so most of our programming is not divided by age, but there are some places where programming is designed to serve our youth and families specifically.

Holy Communion Class

Each year, the Wednesday before Easter, families are invited to grow in their understanding of what Holy Communion is, and why we celebrate it each week during worship. Families read scripture together, make bread, and try the elements in a safe and fun space.

2024 ELCA Youth Gathering

In August of 2024, students from Grace Lutheran Church joined tens of thousands of other youth from around the country for the ELCA Youth Gathering New Orleans. There, they saw the power of our larger church body, worshipping and serving alongside their peers.

As a group we took a trip out to Valley Veggies which is just a little ways out of Mankato and built our own bouquets from the field of flowers they had available.  It was a great time and we were able to make some beautiful arrangements.  We were also able to have communion as a group and a family bouquet devotional was provided.  Check out the devotional by clicking he link below
