Grace Lutheran Church is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual with marketing and communications skills to help grow our ministries. Grace is a warm and inviting congregation of the ELCA, where all are welcome. Our mission is to serve and love our neighbors as an expression of God’s abundant love. The position will be 20 hours per week on average. Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Hours can be adjusted for the needs of the right candidate. Starting compensation of up to $16.00 per hour. Benefits include a great work environment, helpful team, and the support of a caring congregation.

Support the Vision, Mission and Core Values of the Congregation.
Be the “Face of Grace” as the first impression maker when people enter our building.
Keep social media accounts and webpage updated.
Create engaging content to communicate the mission and ministry of Grace Lutheran Church through various outlets, such as fliers, newsletters, slideshows, social media posts and stories, and more.
Assist in administrative and operational tasks: phone management, mailings, filing, and coordinating office, kitchen and church supplies.
Oversee data entry done by volunteers.
Be a resource to the larger ministries of Grace as needed.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication skills and able to consistently make a good impression.
Detail oriented with exceptional grammar and spelling.
Knowledge and understanding of how social media is used effectively.
Proficiency in design software (Canva preferred).
Self-motivated and self-managed. The right candidate will be forward thinking and keep busy by always looking ahead for the next opportunity.
Relates well to people of all ages.
Willingness and ability to be creative and explore “outside the box”.
